Established in February 2012, Integrated Commissioning Solutions, Inc. specializes in delivering a variety of energy efficiency and sustainability-related services to the owners, operators, designers and occupants of commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. ICS works with governments, developers, design & construction teams, facility managers, and many others to integrate sustainable development principles into projects worldwide. ICS has participated in projects that raise the standards of energy performance and increase occupants' satisfaction.

ICS is active in many professional organizations, including the U.S. Green Building Council, the Association of Energy Engineers, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers, and the Building Commissioning Association.

Tim Cordell, PE, LEED® AP

Tim Cordell is the Founder and Principal Mechanical Engineer at Integrated Commissioning Solutions (ICS), where he leverages his extensive experience in HVAC and Building Automation System (BAS) Design and Commissioning (Cx), security/ fire alarm/lighting systems, large-scale project management, and construction administration of high performance buildings--of which 20 are LEED Silver, LEED Gold or LEED Platinum--to ensure optimum occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and construction and operating costs.

Over the past 15 years, Tim has served in various project management, supervisory, or lead commissioning authority roles, successfully completing over 3 million square feet of LEED-certified projects in the government, healthcare, high-end residential, higher education, resorts and retail construction sectors. Notable projects include the NGA Campus East in Springfield, Virginia which is the third largest federal facility in Washington, D.C. area at 2.77M square feet, $1.5B, 43-acre expansion of the Atlantis Resort and Hotel in Paradise Island, Bahamas and The Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach, CA, which received LEED Platinum rating--the highest level, awarded to just over 1,055 projects worldwide since the LEED rating system was first introduced in 2000.

Tim is a Mechanical Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of |California, LEED AP BD+C certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, as well as EST-2 and APOGEE hardware and programming certified by Edwards Systems Technology and Siemens Building Technologies, respectively. He is an active member of the Building Commissioning Association (BCA). Tim obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.®
